UETN Tech Summit

We all use cloud applications and this is growing each year with businesses included. How do we navigate moving to cloud based applications for storage and other purposes and maintain visibility into what data is being stored in the cloud, how users are using it, etc? This presentation would cover a neutral path to gain visibility and understand how protections can be leveraged. I can show how the product I work with does this or keep it completely neutral if desired.  

This presentation would cover how organizations can make the move to Cloud Applications and do so with visibility and understanding of how their users are using the applications to ensure they are doing so securely. Generally a first phase is to understand what Cloud Applications are in use and how much data is flowing to them, where the data is headed etc. We call this Shadow IT. Additionally, Many users don't understand file sharing and as such can expose PII/PCI/HIPAA and other sensitive data without understanding what they are doing - this area can be considered Shadow Data. I can show how the product I work on provides visibility into common Shadow IT and Shadow Data issues or keep it completely neutral.
